Your Century Bank credit card carries powerful fraud protection. When we see authorizations that don't match your normal spending patterns, we'll call you to verify the transaction.

Credit card fraud is unfortunately here to stay, but, if you carry a Century Bank Visa card you can rest easy. We take your business very seriously and do everything we can to safeguard your account.
How does Century Bank protect you?
Century Bank is looking out for you. To protect your card account, we use state-of-the-art fraud-fighting tools to help us to safeguard your account.
We also watch your account for suspicious behavior with powerful neural network technology. Considered the most effective way to spot fraudulent card use, neural network technology learns the way you normally use your card. When your card is used in a way that doesn't match your typical spending habits, our fraud notification system lets us know that a high-risk transaction has occurred. When we receive such notification, we'll call you to verify the transaction in question. If you verify that your account was used fraudulently, we can take the important steps to block your account from further unauthorized use. Because it is important that we are able to reach you in a timely manner, make sure to keep us updated if your telephone number or address changes.
How can you protect yourself?
Report lost or stolen cards immediately to the numbers at the top of this page
- Sign your card as soon as you receive it
- Treat your cards as you would cash - do not leave them unattended.
- Make sure that you get your card back after every purchase.
- Never give your account number over the phone unless you initiate the call.
- Know the approximate delivery date of your card statements and check it, especially after a trip, for transactions that you did not complete.
- Record account numbers, expiration dates and phone numbers in a secure location.
- Shred, tear up or black out account numbers on receipts or statements before disposing of them.
- Close unused card accounts and cut cards into several pieces before disposing of them.
- Limit the number of cards you carry with you and keep all others in a secure location.
- When using your card for Internet purchases, be sure the merchant has proper security measures in place. If you are not sure, call them instead.
